Blind Tiger Pub

After a long day of walking all over downtown hunting Pokemon, my boyfriend and I were super hungry. One of my co-worker RAVED about Blind Tiger and was so upset when it closed down a few months ago.

Blind Tiger has been in Charleston since the late 1800s and has probably had a million owners/managers (estimation of course…). The pub shut down early this year but recently reopened with a different menu. I never visited prior to the reopening so cannot give you a comparison review.

After our long trek to the Battery and back, we opted to stop at the bar so my boyfriend could drink some Guinness and we could get some bar food. The burger was perfect and not too big. I always appreciate leaving a restaurant not feeling like I need to lay down and do nothing for three hours. We split an order of fries and enjoyed our meal. It definitely is a “nicer” bar and the food is a little pricier than a standard bar but I definitely did enjoy the food and the ambiance. We went later on a Sunday evening so it was a quiet and calm evening in a bar downtown, which I also prefer.
