Community Pizza House

A friend suggested meeting at Community Pizza House for dinner one night after work because she wanted to check it out.

I got there (late because of construction) and met my friend at the outside bar on the second floor. My friend had a Moscow Mule and along with the cute little illustration on the menu about how to make said drink, I was sold and soon enough had my own copper mug filled with lime, ginger, and goodness. It was so muggy and warm outside, clouds of cold air were coming off of the mug which demonstrates that the drink was refreshingly cold for the weather.

I got the Parmageddon pizza which includes this description:
tomato sauce | crumbled hand-crafted natural chicken meatball whipped ricotta | mozzarella & provolone blend |  spicy chili flake grated parmesan

My friend got the Hawaiian Punch pizza: tomato sauce | mozzarella & provolone blend | pineapple | applewood smoked bacon | fresh jalapeño

I loved the pizza I got, the chicken sausage made me think it was a little on the healthier side (I know, I know… it’s pizza) but the mix of flavors was really nice and also not too spicy. My friend and I swapped pieces of our pizzas. I’m glad she ordered “light-jalapeños” because the ones on there definitely gave it a kick. I’m not a huge cooked-pineapple fan so don’t usually enjoy Hawaiian pizzas but this was good.

Our bartender was funny, the food was good, the environment was lovely, and we enjoyed a good conversation. Definitely would return even just for a Moscow Mule!
