Three Little Birds has become a staple for me in the short time I’ve lived in Charleston. It’s simple, fresh, and full of a variety of food; what more could you ask for? It’s also a little hippy too 🙂
Three Little Birds definitely isn’t super traditional Southern food. It is on the healthier side and isn’t all coated in butter and/or deep fried (not that there is anything wrong with that). This California girl doesn’t always need meet and would like to see some greens, sometime :). I have ordered a variety of items at Three Little Birds, many coming from their daily specials.
One of my favorites is the black bean benedict. It’s a lighter and vegetarian version of the standard benedict. Poached eggs, green salsa, and black bean patties. So yummy!
They also have fresh smoothies and juices. Three Little Birds feels like a little bit of California here in the South.
